We are traveling around August/September to Singapore to visit a friend, so we want to spend some time in area to learn more.

Beschreibung

Hi! We are Jakub and Izabela and we ome from south part of Poland. We are both university students - Izabela is doing her master's and Jakub is PhD student.

We enjoy company of other people (and also animals!) and activities like playing board games or going on hikes togheter. Always eager to learn about their story and culture.

We love trying new things, especially ones that you can eat. We always very excited to try local cuisine. We like doing things that require a lot of creativity - playing guitar (very badly), drawing (less badly), playing in thearther. Jakub has even wrote his own play! (he believes this is nothing to be proud of but Izabela doesn't agree)

Both of us have experience in teaching both kids and adults - starting from math ending on sailing. We can also teach you how to make pierogi. We have done a lot of volonteering - working in shelter for homeless people, organizing different events and camps, being a company to eldery people. In everyday life we focus on programming and math as well as learning new languages.

For more details, see the skills section, but in general, we are open to any job. Even if we haven't done something before, we are very eager to learn - so if you need a help in building something, just show us how to put bricks on each other.

PS: If you are very bored Jakub can always talk for hours about Warhammer (only, ONLY the old world) and paiting figures.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

So both of us can use a shovel and lawnmower without harming each other. Jakub really enjoys cutting wood. Also we are not artists, but we can paint your fence, wall, or whatever you want. This probably makes us suitable to work in your garden.

We like dogs, cats, and animals in general, so we can take care of yours. In our homes, we often take care of pets. Jakub was even honored to take care of Feluś (Feluś is his aunt's beloved cat, and his aunt never lets anyone else take care of Feluś).

Jakub can teach you programming and math. He has experience with children, teenagers, adults, and in teaching bigger groups, so he can also teach people from your family. His students say he is a bit meme-y but a good teacher.

Izabela is excellent at logistics, so if you need to plan something that does not require ultra-specific knowledge (or you can explain this knowledge to her), she will be happy to help you with planning. She is also great at writing CVs and applications, so she can provide help in this field as well.

Jakub speaks reasonably good English (B2), while Izabela is fluent in English (C2) and can also speak German and Spanish at a beginner level. In reality, she can also speak three more languages, but believes that her level is so low that she shouldn't mention it (Jakub disagrees).

Both of us can cook, Izabela much better, and maybe we are not chefs, but typically people take seconds. If you want to try traditional Polish dishes, we can make some for you.

We have driver's licenses, but we don't drive a lot, so we will not feel comfortable using other people's cars and driving in new places.

If you are looking for a new hobby, Jakub can always show you how to paint miniatures.

We don't mind the presence of children and we get along well with them (Jakub really loves to read to them, though he has never done it in English before) and we can teach them something (math, programming, languages). However, we don't want to be babysitters—taking care of children sounds like too much responsibility.

Of course, we have amazing skills like using a broom and vacuum cleaner, and even washing dishes. If you need a team to clean up some place— here we are.
