Hi hosts :)

I'm Isabel, 29 from England.

I live in Isumi, Japan with my husband.

I have a degree in psychology. I worked as an English (TEFL) teacher in South Korea and China and lived in Nepal for a while before moving to Japan.

I have some experience in hospitality, child care, gardening, farm work and animal care. I have travelled to 31 countries and done a lot along the way! I currently work at a beach side hostel/restaurant and help my husband's parents with their work, growing fig trees and making fig cakes :) I'm also a tattoo apprentice!

I have a lot of hobbies and interests, including hiking and mountaineering, swimming and snorkelling, gardening and exploring nature, reading, photography, art and crafts, spirituality, philosophy and astronomy. I also like learning new languages.

As a person I believe I'm easy going, open minded and reflective. I'm quite introverted but like to socialise with like minded people. I work hard and play hard. I can work well both as part of a team and independently once guidance has been given. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures, hearing their life stories and sharing mine :)

I was vegan for 5 years. I'm ashamed to say I'm currently not, but am still health conscious and have interest an in animal rights and sustainibility.
