Beschreibung

Hey, we're Immanuel, 24 years old, and Kiara, 23 years old, a couple from Berlin, Germany.

Immanuel: I'm finishing my studies in architecture and urban design nowadays, which I'm really passionate about, and work as a landscape architect. Also I'm studying sociology out of personal interest. This being said most of my experiences with buildings and outdoor facilities were more on the planning side, so I'd love to learn more about the hands-on practice, be it helping to build or renovate something or everything about gardening, plant care and harvesting. I love making, discovering and exchanging music and enjoy learning new languages a lot. Also I really like reading and drawing, but do it less frequent than I want.

Kiara: I'm also almost done with my studies, in childhood pedagogy. Before and during my studies I've been working in different pedagogic institutions such as a residential group (shelter) and kindergartens. I love working with children and with people altogether. In general I enjoy doing things that do some good, for others or the environment!
I get great joy out of being around my friends and family. I like (vegan) cooking, would love to learn more from you about it and am happy to share with you what I know. Furthermore I love being in the nature and would like to learn more about plants and gardening!


We are very open minded and quite easy going people who enjoy meeting new people and being surrounded by old and new friends just as much as being just for ourselves somewhere out in the nature. Traveling, camping or going to festivals are some of the things we love to do together!

I (Immanuel) was learning French in school for five years and spoke it quite well back then, but unfortunately forgot most of it. I'd love to freshen up my French skills a bit!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Immanuel has some (more theoretical) knowledge of construction and has helped renovating (painting walls and ceiling, grinding, sealing and polishing parquet flooring, mounting of skirting boards etc.).
Kiara is very skilled and experienced with children, is a good car driver and great at decorating.

We both have good basic knowledge in vegan and vegetarian cooking, have used garden tools more than once at some point in our lives and are not too clumsy with any DIY stuff. :)

We are willing to help anywhere where it's needed. We are fast learners (as far as we can evaluate that ourselves), it's easy to get us enthusiastic about something and we're always interested in looking into something we haven't dealt with so far!

Only Kiara has a drivers license.

I (Immanuel) smoke, but can also do without for the time of our stay, if that should be a problem for anyone.
