Hi, I'm Hayley and I am from the U.K. 👋 For the last six years, I've lived in Canada, but I recently moved back to England to be closer to my family.

My work background is in marketing, communications and social media. I have a degree in Psychology and after finishing university, I moved to Japan to be an English teacher and an au pair to four amazing children.

My true passion is animals and nature. I started riding horses when I was 12 and I rode for about 10 years. I had taken a bit of a break but now I'm literally back in the saddle. I also love the ocean - I am a keen scuba diver and I got my PADI Open Water certification when I was 16.

I'm so happy to have started my Workaway adventure and can't wait to see where I end up next! 💚

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm adaptable, not afraid to get my hands dirty and a quick learner. I'm always happy to help out with tasks outside of the 'job description'.

I enjoy driving and have extensive experience driving a manual/stick car on both sides of the road. I can also drive cargo vans and have previously driven ATVs/quad bikes, snow mobiles and motor bikes.

I was an au pair to four young children, so I'm good with kids (not so much babies though - I have experience with 3-12 year olds).

I love all animals and have lived with big dogs for the last few years. I'm a keen horse rider and have experience with tacking up, stable management, feeding, grooming and of course, riding (intermediate level - comfortable cantering, can do small jumps). I love to swim in open water and am a PADI certified scuba diver.

If you'd like some help with computers or your business, I would be happy to lend a hand with computers, basic website editing, social media, content creation and marketing.

Was noch ...

I'm not really into the party lifestyle and I'm not a big drinker, but I like social gatherings at home. I will say hello to basically any dog I see and would love to have an Australian Shepherd one day! In the evenings, I love to play board games, video games, read or do art projects.
