Hello, Lucy (30) and Harry (28) here!

We're uncomplicated people who enjoy food, music, animals and exploring nature. WorkAway has taken us to many beautiful places so far including Daintree Rainforest, various farms and beach side projects.

We are interested in projects that involve food cultivation, local communities, gardens, arts and home renovation.

We've been career focused for a while and have decided to hit pause for a year and escape the UK. First stop - Australia, followed by Vietnam and Japan.

In our careers so far Lucy has worked in special needs education and arts for different community groups. Harry lectures in photography, he has also spent time volunteering with refugee organisations. We're both interested in spending time on projects to make a fairer world.

We are positive, responsible and mature. In our free time Harry spends a lot of time reading and is looking forward to surfing. Lucy loves music and meeting new people. Together we cook a lot and love to host. We spend our time exploring galleries, walking, playing cards, having beers in the sun. We are really open to opportunities, people and ideas and look forward to experiencing local ways of life.

We can't wait to meet new friends and experience the nature in this part of the world.

We're both photographers/creative people and we're happy to share/use these skills on WorkAways.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Our main aim is to help! We are flexible and open to learning new skills.

Because of workaway, we have spent a lot of time caring for gardens! We are professional de-weeders at this stage of traveling.

We're both practical, hands-on people. We love cooking and can handle making food for large groups, the kitchen is where we excel as a couple! When we were students we cleaned to pay bills so we're happy to get our hands dirty too.

We have both led creative careers so far and have a wide range of digital/creative skills we can share. If you need photographs or digital help, you can trust us.

Harry has spent time working on home renovation projects including a loft conversion (plasterboarding, laying wooden floor, stud wall). He's comfortable using some power tools. Together, we've housesat, sanding and painting a house while the owners were away.

We love animals! Harry has always had dogs in his family, and Luce cats. We would love to spend time walking and taking care of your animals.
