HI! I am a young traveller trying to compromise my desire for new experiences, people, and adventures with the human need for a little consistency and stability every once in a while. I have lived life as both a spontaneous traveller and a relatively settled expat, and often crave a little bit of both, so I often look for longer stays. I really enjoy projects working directly in nature or with animals, however I get along with people too. A huge part of travelling for me is the cultural experience, so I prefer opportunities to engage closely with new cultures and to learn new skills. I also want to share everything I can and all the random skills I've picked up along the way.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Scuba diving: I teach scuba diving courses and love to be in the ocean. It is my main occupation when I am not travelling.

2+ years of animal care: I have cared for my own animals, farm animals, rescued wild animals at animal sanctuaries for wild animals that ended up in the exotic pet trade, and handicapped and abused shelter dogs. Special experience working closely with handicapped dogs for over a year.

Gardening/farming: I have cared for my own garden and have experience volunteering on small-scale farms. I have created various types of compost pits. I have a little experience with construction.

Food: I love cooking! I am a vegetarian, but actually have a lot of experience preparing meat for animals. I love being creative in the kitchen, and also have a lot of experience using herbs, oils, and other natural products to create personal hygiene products

Teaching English: I have worked for 4+ years as an English teacher in various capacities, including one-on-one tutoring, classroom settings, primary school-university, academic reading and writing specialty, and IELTS test prep

Hospitality: I have worked and volunteered in hostels and guesthouses in many different countries.

Was noch ...

I try to keep an open mind and I realize nothing is ever as we expect it to be. I am down to take risks and try new things. Remote living, sleeping outside, using a compost toilet, or getting dirty don't bother me!
