Hello everyone!

We are Kim & Giulia, two friends from Germany, traveling together through Australia. This journey is all about exploring this amazing country, experiencing its diverse culture, and meeting new people along the way. Australia has so much to offer — from stunning beaches and unique wildlife to vibrant cities and incredible landscapes — and we’re excited to take it all in!

One of our biggest motivations is to improve our English while immersing ourselves in the local way of life. We love discovering new places, learning new skills, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. We’re always happy to help, learn, and share experiences with others.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Giulia:
I have always enjoyed working with people, taking on new challenges, and learning new skills. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience in customer service, administration, and teamwork through various roles.
I started my professional journey as a Retail Assistant at E-Center Fischer Roth, where I worked for nearly four years. In this role, I assisted customers, maintained store shelves, handled cash transactions, and trained new employees. This experience taught me how to work efficiently in a team, stay organized, and provide excellent customer service.
Currently, I work as a Sales Assistant at S-International Nordbayern GmbH & Co. KG, where I have further developed my administrative and problem-solving skills. My responsibilities include managing customer data, preparing documents for trader appointments, handling financial tasks such as FX investments and loans, and processing inquiries. Additionally, I have been entrusted with training colleagues and representing the company on LinkedIn, demonstrating my reliability and adaptability.
Beyond my professional experience, I have also worked with children as a trainer and mentor. For two years, I trained a kids' group in Boogie Woogie together with my brother, helping them develop skills and confidence. Additionally, I trained some kids in my Boogie Woogie dance group in Nuremberg until I left for Australia, further strengthening my ability to teach, support, and motivate others.

Kim:
I have a diverse mix of practical experience, analytical thinking, and social engagement.
Through my tutoring in mathematics, I have not only deepened my own knowledge but also developed strong communication and problem-solving skills by explaining complex topics in an understandable way. My internships in different fields, including architecture, speech therapy, and fashion, reflect my curiosity and adaptability. Additionally, my part-time job at a gas station has strengthened my reliability, customer service skills, and ability to work in a structured environment.
My long-term commitment as a youth worker in my church community has allowed me to take on responsibility, work effectively in a team, and contribute actively beyond school or work. I also have solid computer and language skills, which make me a versatile and valuable candidate in various fields.

We are highly adaptable and comfortable working in new environments, whether independently or as part of a team. We are also eager to learn new things and pick up skills quickly.
Currently traveling in Australia, we are excited to contribute our skills while learning about new cultures and meeting new people. We are open-minded, reliable, and always eager to take on new challenges.

Giulia:
I'm passionate about dancing, especially Boogie Woogie and garde dancing! I compete in Boogie Woogie with my brother, which is so much fun and has taught me not only precision and creativity but also how to adapt quickly to my partner and the music. I also did ballet for a few years and really enjoyed how it improved my dancing skills and helped me master pirouettes.
Besides dancing, I love playing tennis. I used to play regularly and still enjoy hitting the court whenever I get the chance.
On top of that, music is a huge part of my life, and I love singing whenever I can!

Kim:
I used to play tennis and am excited to start again soon. I also danced Hip-Hop and ballet, which helped me develop rhythm, coordination, and creativity. Additionally, I spent around five years horseback riding, which taught me patience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for animals.
Beyond sports, I have a great passion for reading and love getting lost in a good book. I also really enjoy watching sports games, especially soccer—I find the excitement, strategy, and team spirit fascinating.
