Heyy there!
I'm Fenja, a 20-year-old german who's taking a gap year and using it to travel around. I always knew that I couldn't just stay at home and only know about my culture. Since I'm a little girl I'm really interested in getting to know people and learn about their ways of life. I love hearing other perspectives on different topics and exchanging opinions. And that is exactly why I love traveling. I am a very open and social person. I like being surrounded by people which is why I have already worked for 3 months on a cruise ship (I'm also a huge ocean lover:)). I worked there in childcare and LOVED it. Being around kids just makes me so happy. Besides my interests in exploring new things, I am very interested in music. I have been playing the piano for several years. I also did cheerleading basically my whole life (not a typical German sport:))
In general, I would say that I am an outdoor girl who admires nature, but is also particularly fascinated by the people she meets on her way. I love being faced with new challenges and finding solutions. So thank you already for reading through my profile. I can definitely assure you that I'm open and motivated to learn new things and would appreciate it so much to get to know you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have the most experience working with children. I have been coaching cheerleading teams for years. I have also led groups at my church and done other planning and leadership tasks. The most experience I have had is on the ship. Every day for several months, I had children ages 3-11 around me. This time has shaped me very much.
I also worked as a waitress during school for several years. This allowed me to acquire many social skills.
I'm also a huge animal lover (especially cats😺).
During my travels I volunteered at a hostel. I also worked at farm where I did all the outdoor work but also helped in the kitchen.
Besides that I have basic knowledge in things like housekeeping, gardening, cooking/baking, painting, photography, but I would be very happy to improve my skills in these areas. In general, I am very open to new things and willing to learn. I can adapt to new task pretty well and I never lose my motivation if it is something I really want to learn, which is the case when I'm reaching out to you:)
