Beschreibung

I’m Ellen and I’m 29 years old, turning 30 next year. I have worked for the UN and four NGOs over the past six years and now I’m taking a career break for six months before my next chapter. I will be travelling solo for the first time and I’m excited to meet new people and experience new places. I’m from the UK and recently moved out of London after six years (so if you need any tips let me know!), and previously I have lived in Amsterdam and Beirut.

I’m an outgoing, confident people-person who loves to travel, meet new people, learn new skills and share new experiences. I’m a project manager by profession so I like organisation and some structure, but I also enjoy going with the flow. My friends would describe me as the organiser or the glue to the group, I thrive in large groups of people and enjoy organising nights out, events and activities.

I have wanted to travel through Central and South America for many years, and I finally have the time and opportunity to do so. I’m keen to work and support hostels, as well as work on projects working with animals.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have strong organisation and project management skills including budget and financial management as I currently manage multiple international budgets. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing reports, supporting marketing work, and working with partners and suppliers. I have strong social media and digital skills for example Microsoft Office, Adobe, Salesforce, Canva, and social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X). I’m a team player and manage a small team, therefore I can bring my people management skills to any role. I have good logistics management as in my current job I have managed multiple international trips for volunteers and staff including managing travel logistics such as booking transport, planning itineraries, and managing accommodation.
