Hey! We are Ella and Jake, 25 and 26 years old from Australia. We have been together for 6 years, and have been living on the South Coast of Australia. We are now travelling through Central and South America together. We are both very relaxed, positive people and are always up for a new adventure. We would definitely say we prefer to be doing things outdoors rather than be indoors. We'd describe ourselves as very positive and always in a good mood. We always put 100% into anything we do, so we're keen to learn new things and gain new knowledge with pretty much anything!


Ella: What motivates me? I am lucky and blessed enough to be able to travel the world and experience what it has to offer, so I'm motivated to see as much of this beautiful world as possible while I can! I love having new experiences, meeting new people and getting to know their stories, being out in nature, and learning about culture.

I'm a water baby, so being in the water (whether that be surfing or swimming) brings me LOTS of joy, I love hiking, exploring new cities and towns, and just seeing new places!

I work in film production, and I absolutely love taking my camera out and capturing videos and photos of my travels, too. Working in this field I have worked with people of all kinds - children, people with disabilities, LGBTQI+, People of Colour, elderly folk, and always try my best to make everyone feel included and comfortable.


Jake:
What motivates me?
Fresh perspectives, Spending time on the road allows me to gain new perspectives and learn new things about the world. I enjoy meeting new people and really getting to know them - anyone from all walks of life. I would say I'm fairly creative, so I enjoy learning about arts and culture in different countries as well.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Ella's Experience: I have worked in hospitality for 5+ years. Mostly waitressing, front of house, and bar tending at cafes and restaurants.
I also have lots of experience with baby sitting/nannying work, this also included cleaning the house for the families and cooking basic meals.
In the last 3.5 years I have worked in film production. This includes producing, filming, photography, video editing, and scripting. I also have experience with basic web design using Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace. As well as some marketing tools such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp.

I am a fit, strong person, and I'm not afraid to get dirty. So I'm happy to do some manual labour if required. I'm also very confident in the water, so if any activities or jobs involve being in the water I'm more than happy to do that!


Jake's Experience:

I am a fit and healthy person ready to work. I have experience working as a general labourer and farm hand as well as hospitality and customer service experience working in bars.

Before travelling I worked as a brand designer and can help with digital marketing and brand building tasks such as brand identity/logo design, website design, graphic design for social media, paid ads, email marketing etc.

Happy to work on any task given.

Was noch ...

Overall, we are both outdoorsy people who love being in nature. We're social and are always happy to meet new people and make friends wherever we are. We can easily fit into most settings, whether it be a social hostel, or a more laid back farm stay (or anything in between!) We hope you consider us :)
