Hi there!😊 I’m a Swedish medical student always open to new opportunities and learning. Having grown up in a big family, I am used to helping out a lot and definitely have a soft spot for children. My Finnish and Canadian heritage have inspired my curiosity about other cultures and languages. New to Workaway, I am excited to see where and what I can contribute with to others while growing myself!🌱 I believe in being genuine, curious and positive. As a person, I am social, and enjoy small talk while also really appreciating deep talks. I enjoy variation and am spontaneous. In short, I am open to mostly anything!⚡️

I know several languages (see language section) and have a great interest in learning more. My multilingual upbringing has helped new languages come easily to me in adulthood. I have experience of teaching math to a group of gifted school children, and I believe teaching languages would be the ultimate combination of pedagogy and my favorite interest - languages.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
- A lot of experience babysitting, both for my six younger siblings growing up and for other families.
- One year of medical school and one summer working as a personal assistant for a severely ill infant
- One summer working as a combined tourist information officer and guide
- Mother tongues: Swedish and English. I also know Norwegian and get by in Finnish. My German level is conversational. I know a little French, Latin and Greek as well. Being a rapid and motivated language learner, I am definitely interested in Workaway jobs that involve other languages than the above mentioned
- I really enjoy learning new skills of all sorts!

Was noch ...
I am interested in music and would thrive in an environment where I could cultivate this interest. For now, I am a beginner at both singing and the keyboard, but have a decent musical ear and (let be untrained) singing voice. I am also open to learning new instruments.
