Last summer I decided to leave home for the summer to get out of my routine, gain a new perspective on life and explore different ways to live it. I fell in love with this adventure, so I decided to continue it this year too.

What I love about Workaway is the opportunity to meet people, discover new cultures, live among locals and learn something every day.

I'm a calm, caring and perceptive person. I'm tidy and I don't need much. I enjoy hard work and don't mind getting dirty. I adapt quickly and I'm a fast learner. I'm generally interested in doing any type of work, but I prioritize chances where I can learn a new skill.

I feel in my element most when I'm surrounded by greenery and kind people. I'm still enjoying the urban life but my longterm goal is self-sustainability and to grow old in a tiny house I've bulit somewhere quiet and close to water.

I'm vegan, against any type of discrimination and being environmentally conscious is very important to me.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Last year I gained some experience but my goal remains the same: to learn new things. This is why I'm looking for opportunities to deepen my knowledge and do things I've never done before.

I'm interested in learning everything and anything you can teach me, but my main interests are: how to be self-sustainable, permaculture, ceramics, carpentry and woodwork, natural and sustainable building, natural dyeing techniques, cooking, foraging, mushrooms, edible and medicinal plants. Also some day I hope to build a tiny house for myself so any opportunity for learning skills that could be useful is highly appreciated.

I have basic gardening skills, I can make tasty food from almost anything and I know how to handle some power tools. I started to educate myself about permaculture, fungi and musrooms and I also started to learn basic carpentry skills.

I've been working in the hospitality industry since I was 16, mainly as a barback, bartender or server and I had the chance to participate in a course about wine organised by the restaurant I worked at in Budapest. I also know how to clean and have experince in preparing a rental for guests. I enjoy working with people, being a member of a restaurant’s or bar’s team. I have great experience with staying at hostels, so I’d love a chance to try myself in that enviroment too.

I learned how to cook from my grandmother fairly young and found that I really enjoy it. I’m looking for any kind of opportunty where I can learn more about preparing ingredients, making food, working in a kitchen, cooking for a bigger group or just any tips and tricks or new recipies.

I do smoke sometimes but if that's something that you're not okay with, I'm fine not doing it.

I'm not a big drinker but can appreciate a nice glass of wine or a beer (especially natural wines and craft beers).
