Hi, I'm Denis. I've been travelling since August last year in the Brazilian Amazon (Pará and Acre), all the way through Peru (Sacred Valley and Tarapoto region), currently at Vilcabamba in Ecuador. It's been a beautiful regenerative journey, where I could learn a lot about nature, culture and myself.
I have a professional background on electrical, electronics and software engineering. Before I've lived in Canada, Sweden, Hungary and Spain apart from my home country Brasil.
The purpose of my travelling is to reconnect to my continent and learn sustainable practices so that I can apply them in my return to Brasil.
I'm a certified yoga teacher and I love to dance contact improvisation. Both practices are healing, and I can always offer that too.

During my travel I've been doing work with bioconstruction using clay and straw on wooden or metal structures. I've done different types of work related to gardening and agriculture (cleaning out weeds, piling up bigger branches to clean for planting, and also planting fruit trees or reforesting). I've read a book about agroforestry during my trip and often I can apply some of the concepts I've learned there.
I'm keen to learn carpentry.
