Beschreibung
Freshly graduated, I am taking some months to travel to the north of Norway and merge with the vast and rough landscapes. I'm really curious about this remote part of Europe, the local traditions, and how this shapes communities.
The past three years I've enjoyed living in Copenhagen, where on the side of my studies I delved myself in Danish language and culture, and became even more passionate about bicycles than I was before. In my studies I focus on how we can make cities a nicer and human-sized place to live, and I believe the bicycle plays a big part in this.
Through Workaway I'd like to involve myself in activities which I wouldn't have the chance to do at home, learn new skills and ways of living, and meet inspiring people with stories different than mine. I'm very happy to put into practice what I know and help out where it is needed, especially if it means learning something new.
I've used Couchsurfing in the past, and taken part in local restoration and gardening projects, and I'm excited for my first time using Workaway!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
- Language: I speak fluent English, and Danish on a good conversational level
- General maintenance: mainly bicycle mechanics, and some experience with carpentry and gardening
- Housework: my mum has always been a *very* tidy person, and I've definitely inherited this from her - I can also cook and I enjoy doing so in company
- Teaching: I taught English to younger kids when I was still living in Italy (plus other subjects such as Maths, Science, ...)
- Art: I enjoy taking photographs and am a really avid reader - I'm always happy to experiment into other art forms
- Tech: my last job was as IT support in a small office, and I definitely know my way around computers and coding, though it is not one of my main passions

In the pre-covid era I've done some cycling trips through Italy and Europe, mostly with my younger brother, and in recent years I've exchanged the bicycle for...my thumb - hitchhiking!
Both in Italy and Denmark I've been active in environmental activism groups and related climate action campaigns.
Running has been my sport since high-school, I like the self-sufficient and meditative aspect of it. I also enjoy playing team sports such as football or volleyball.
Recently I got very into juggling and can hopefully teach a few cool tricks!
