Hi! I'm on a journey to find out how I can make a positive and tangible impact on our world as a young person.
After working as a cook in the vibrant city of Bristol for a year after leaving school, I travelled through Portugal, Spain and Central America working at many projects and communities. I'd love to travel the world volunteering for another year or two before studying architectural engineering and carpentry.
I love meeting people from different backgrounds and discovering new ways of living and perspectives on life. I am a very upbeat and positive person, whilst also enjoying moments of quiet and thoughtful conversation. I hope to be able to share some great memories and make real connections with kind and compassionate people whom I can learn a lot from and give back to in some way. I feel I'm in a phase of intense discovery and love of learning so enjoy soaking up any wisdom, skills or ideas I come across through helping others.
I have grown up in alternative education, surrounded by art, nature and crafts for much of my life. This has given me a love of creativity and using my hands as well as an appreciation for community.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked on organic farms and within eco-villages and communities, as well as at festival buildups. I also have experience in gardening, building, carpentry and maintenance.
I have a lot of experience in customer interaction through working in eco-tourism and bars as well as liasoning for a reforestation company.
I worked in kitchens for 3 years, starting as a Kitchen Porter and working my way up to running a prep kitchen and managing junior chefs.
I'm a quick learner and always eager to expand my skills and knowledge. I'm really willing to help hosts with any tasks they need.

I am passionate about music and spend much of my time discovering new genres and artists as well as playing bossa nova and flamenco guitar. I particularly love dancing to live music and am always down to have a jam. I love hiking and being surrounded by nature. As well as working outside in the land, gardening and using my hands to create. I also enjoy writing and reading about other cultures and beliefs.
