Ready for a tour of South-Eastern Asia!

Beschreibung

I'm an adventurous soul and love exploring, not a big fan of short-term travelling, I like living in different places for several months and know as much as I can about my host country and people. When I stop somewhere for too long, I feel the "itchy feet" and start wandering what else I could find out there. My job as an English teacher allows me to travel and work, but I'm not into technology and smart-working that much, as I prefer to meet people in person and talk to them face to face. I've always had "volunteering" on my bucket list and now that I've collected some work experience, I feel like I'm ready for it. After living in China for 6 months and travelling to Thailand during my time in Uni, I've left Asia with the absolute need to come back there, and never managed to. I'm now looking for my chance to get away from Europe for some time and learn a bit more about the world and myself.

Would love to learn a bit of the local language. When I travel, I usually try to acquire the basics before even getting to my destination. I love teaching English as that's what I've studied for. I teach a lot of Italian, being my first language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've worked a lot in hospitality and learned to love interacting with people. I enjoy being in open air but I've worked for years in a classroom. In summer camps I used to love joining activities with the kids, I rarely say "no" to trying something new, especially if it teaches me a new skill. I'm very friendly but need to be honest and my real self. I've been a tour director this summer and learnt a lot about myself, how bad I am at selling, but good at connecting with people. I can't sit in front of a computer for too many hours a day, I like keeping active.

Was noch ...

I've recently been looking into yoga and meditation, although I don't practice them as much as I would like to, and I'm trying to dedicate more time to it. I'm a music and dance lover but really enjoy a chill board game night (my absolute favourite is Ticket to ride). I love animals, I read a lot and I go through different phases, from phycology books to romantic novels to humour books. My main interest is talking to people and listening to stories. I ask a looot of questions
