I'm Lorenzo from Italy I'm going to backpack in this amazing land that I find very inspirational Braziiiiil!!!
I'll start from Rio where my flight arrive..
Can't wait to meet nice people and embrace their ispirational projects.
I volunteered in 2024 in an organic farm on the border of Augusto Ruschi natural reserve (Santa Teresa ES); I've been involved basically in construction of an ecological swimming pool and coffee and banana Planting/weeding and harvesting. I learned a lot about sustainable agriculture methods.
In L'Aquila, my hometown, I work in a company involved in waste managements so it would be great also to work in volunteers projects that deal with recycling, waste reduction and environmental awareness in general.
Aside from that what I do really love is to meet local people to share good talk about our heavies cultural baggage (on top of my already heavy backpack) ;P

I work in the company ASM (www.asmaq.it) where we collect and recycle city waste(plastic organic, paper, glass). I do cleaning services, recyle machines mounting and dismantle, basic IT work for orders from commercial network.
In my spare time I work as personal trainer in a climbing gym.

Was noch ...

I decided to try workaway because from friends experiences and by reading feedback on internet I found out that people that open their spaces to host volunteers match what I consider to be a good citizen profile. A man or woman that gives importance to real life values: respect of diversity among humans and respect of nature and animals, all in a ecofriendly way of living.
my dream is to embrace in the future this lifestyle as well
