We love the mountains (hiking, climbing, mountaineering). An accomodation near the mountains allowing us to do these activities would be great. Interested in farming, gardining, DIY, cooking.

Beschreibung

We are a Swiss couple travelling from Peru to Patagonia for several months. As part of our language and culture learning we would love to join local hosts for up to a month. We love mountains and often go hiking/climbing back home in Switzerland. Looking for a unique cultural exchange, be that on a farm, with a family or a small community.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Céline is a self-employed business owner, running her pop-up restaurant together with her sister in several locations in Switzerland. As such, Célines tasks range from business admistration to cooking, service and social media engagements. Furthermore, she has spent several months with producers in the field, such as goat-herding, cheese-making beekeeping, vegetable and fruit planting/harvesting and many other organic farming activities.

Stephan quit his job in sustainable finance for this trip. Having studied environmental science, he has worked in a handful of different sustainability/nature related jobs inside and outside the office. Apart from his microsoft skills, he spent a year working as an aquatic ecologist monitoring fish population and biodiversity in river ecosystems. This job required long enduring months of construction work outside in snowy and rainy conditions, so he too is not a stranger to outdoor projects.

We both love the outdoors and you will often find us camping and climbing in the mountains. When we‘re not outside, we spend our time diving into cultural and culinary experiences.
