Hii! I am a girl called Céline and I am 19 years old. I live with my family in a house in a town called Brunnen, well actually we live in Wylen, but this is just a little part of Brunnen on the hill. I also have a little sister.
Last summer I finished my matura and at the moment I am taking a gap year. During this year I would love to make many new experiences, that is why I signed up here.

I am a very social person. I love to meet new people and am not at all shy. I like talking with everyone, even if we do not speak the same language. I am very interested in learning languages. I speak swiss-german at home. In school we are learning english and french. I would love to travel and learn a new language. At the moment I would love to learn spanish as I am already trying to learn some on duolingo. :)

In my freetime I love to do a lot of different things such as hiking, climbing, bouldering, skating, swimming, meeting friends... the list goes on. There is really not a single thing I would not try. I am a little of an adrenalin-junkie.
But on the other hand, I love to do relaxing things like yoga, meditating, just chilling in the sun and a lot more.
I am an athlet and have been doing athletics since 2012. I am even training our kids, teaching them all the things I learned through the years.

Music plays an important part in my life too. I love to listen to music but also make music myself. I play the flute since I was in second grade and have been teaching myself how to play the piano, the ukulele and the guitar. I love to try out new instruments and am always open for a jam-session or a round of karaoke. I am in the Theriband (a band at my school) and also play the flute in two diffrent orchestras.
I also like taking photographs and cutting together little videos I take with my cameras.

I want to help people as much as I can and that is also why I am here on this platform. I want to help people while making new memories and experiences. After my GAP-year I think I want to go to University and study psychology so I can be a therapist one day. I also am a babysitter and have worked for three familys with two children each, from the age 1-10. I would love to come help you!

I really love animals of all kind. That is also part of the reason why I am a vegetarian. So I do not eat meat nor fish. I love plants and am not at all a picky eater.I can ride horses too. I live near like 6 farms so I spent some time of my childhood there with the animals.

I also like events of all kinds. I like going to concerts and festivals and I can be a night owl. But I also like to get up early in the morning and watch the sunrise from a mountain top.

I hope to meet many new people and learn all kind of stuff about their country and their culture!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I graduated last summer and am now taking a gap year. In my freetime during school I worked in an icecream-shop and at the moment in a restaurant. I have worked as a babysitter before. So I know how to work in customer service or with people in general. After my gap year, so next summer, I will begin a second education. I am going to become a landscaper.

I recently got my drivers licence, so I can also drive a car if needed.

Since I love animals and live right next to a farm, I always had a connection with animals. I love to work with all kinds of animals. I can also ride horses.

My native language is german, swiss-german to be correct ;). In school I learned english and french. I would say my english level is quite good. I can speak french and understand it pretty good but I am not that fluent. But I am open to teaching a language I speak or learn a new language.

I love being in nature. I can help with gardening or the animals on a farm. I also like to do creative things like painting or renovating. I could also help with that.

I love to read and have a relaxing evening while playing games or just talking. I love to have conversations about life and I am really interested in learning things about different cultures.
