Hi! I'm ANTHONY from the United States (NYC), and I've been traveling the world for 10 years! Growing food and living in harmony with nature are essential and vital life forces to me, and I live to pursue my passions of cultural exchange, skills-sharing in community, and ecology.
Volunteering and work exchange is my sustainable way of seeing the world, and I've done so in many places including Nepal, India, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and all over South America, Africa, and Europe. Other big adventures include bicycle touring for 3 years and sailing from Central America across the Pacific Ocean. I love working with my hands, especially on building projects, farming, gardening, caring for animals, and I'm also a computer whiz! I also owned my own B&B for some years in New York, so I understand the hospitality business and know what it takes to keep guests happy. [Passing the mic...]
Hello, I’m KATRIN from Germany and I too am on a path that will circle the globe. After living and working in Australia for (too many) years, I’m happy to now be a full-time self-sustained traveler and e-nomad ("Virtual Assistant"), collaborating with numerous small businesses to stay organized online and Workaway helper offline. I’m passionate about healthy living, and I’m particularly interested to share my skills in customer service / hospitality, anything with animal-care (as long as it’s friendly and respectful), and working with everyone around me to improve our connected lives and grow together!
We are both long-time vegans (for love of animals and to promote peaceful living), we don't smoke or drink, and we’re exceptionally hard-working, tidy, and respectful guests.
Sharing our gifts of positive energy, veggie cooking skills, evolutionary outlook – anything we can do to help each other and shine best – is on the agenda.
Between us we’ve helped in: Nepal, India, Thailand, New Zealand, Central and South America, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Turkey, Bulgaria, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. And in so many capacities including: lots of farming, eco-building, playing and teaching at orphanages, so much cooking, and most importantly laughing and sharing ideas!

We are always happy to prepare our own vegan meals if it will make us easier to host. We're easy! Or even more fun: we can do it together. (Food is one of our biggest passions!)
