Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I am interested in cultural exchanges, working in farms and families and meet new people!! Also, art projects, learning new skills about horticulture, forniture, gardening and painting!

Beschreibung

Hi there I am Valentina! I am 39 I am Italian and I have worked as an imployee in an employment agency for several years and then I worked as a teacher for a primary school in the last three. I have also worked in an hotel and coffee shops.
I have always liked being sorrounded by foreign people and meet new cultures and languages, that's why I studied international relations when I was younger.

I have also already been abroad as an au pair when I was 21 and I found an unforgettable experience! The family was so kind and cheerful, they even gave me a beautiful present when I left!

I have already worked as a workaway three years ago in Dingle for a rural B&B and it was a fantastic experience to me! The host was super!

Now and then I love come back to Ireland because it is the place of my heart 💚💙 I am in love with the gorgeous landscapes, people, music and culture.

I would like to spend some time trying a brand new experience of volunteering to meet new people and to have the possibility to visit other places in Ireland. On my side now I have many skills to happily share with people, families and hosts in general. I gained maturity and reliability thanks to experiences I made till now. I like cooking and exchanging recipes!
I am a cheerful and sunny person, I like spending time in nature and taking walks, visiting new places. I also love singing, running, swimming, drawing and painting: these activities fill up my time when I do not work. I love engaging conversations and being amongst people and equally I am happy to have my own space and do 'my own thing'.

In my spare time I also like going for a long walk with my dog or for a run in the countryside near my house. I live in a small village and when I like I go to the tawn to meet some friends and do things together. I also like to invite them to my house, cooking for them and spending time relaxing and having fun!

I have been studing singing from different teachers in these last six years and I love meeting musicians and playing together. I also like doing practical stuff like cooking and cleaning or tidying because I like living in a well managed way! I also have an interest in horticolture, gardening and forniture, I love painting old forniture and I would be glad to learn new skills in these fields.
Other disciplines I have an interest in, are psychology, meditation, healing and spiritual growth.

I would love coming back to Ireland and staying there for a while because his enchanting landscapes make me feel free and at peace with the world.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As a career counselor I learned how to relate to many different people and I was quite good in problem solving and in actively listen to their needs and requirements. I also improoved my organisational skills: I worked in an office wich offered a pubblic service (I did job interviews to unemployed people) using public funding in order to find a job for them.
In these last two years instead I worked as a teacher at primary school and I have learned very useful skills in managing classes and team leading in doing educational and teaching activities.
I am a really flexible and patient person especially with children and people in general. I am a committed, willing and dynamic person: when I decided to go living on my own I made some adjustment to old forniture or even in the bathroom: I painted the wall and the floor tiles in order to give a new look to the room. I really love choosing colors and combining them :)
I have always loved music and I have spent some time and energy in learning to sing: now I can say my intoning has improoved. I thing I can convey many emotions and create a warm atmosphere thanks to my middle tons.
I have never worked in a farm but I am sure I may do my best and I would finally succed in order to get a good result! My grandparents were farmers, so I grew up knowing what "hard work" means.
I like doing things in a creative way but I also can follow rules and patterns when they are given. Working in a school I realise the importance of flexibility in both giving rules and freedom to young people in order they may express themself. I believe that people are able to give their best if they feel welcome and accepted.

Was noch ...

I forgot to tell that I love animals in general (cats and dogs in particular) and that I would love living in a farm and spending time with them. I have one dog and two cats in my house in Italy! Oh, and I like cooking, preparing meals, and learning new recipes from different cultures!
