Beschreibung

I'm an open-minded and positive person that always loves to connect with other people. I like both the noisy and serene atmosphere that occurs when different kind of people meet. It can make way for new experiences, new stories and new outlooks on life.

I was travelling and working in Japan from the end of March 2023 until the end of December 2023 with my Working Holiday Visa. It was a really exciting time and I created amazing memories, saw breathtaking sights and met wonderful people. It was my 4th time visiting Japan, so I already knew how to get around and stuff, but it was positively crazy how much more this wonderful country has to offer. I visited so many different prefectures and discovered the diversity of landscapes Japan has to offer, which makes me want to come back for more.

I'm always open for new experiences, that's why I tried out working in different kind of fields.
I was working for a family in their household, where I was responsible for chores and helping out in the garden as well as in some hostels and a ryokan where I was taking care of housekeeping in general, but also dishwashing and cleaning the onsen.

For the future I wish to see more of the world and make many more experiences. I can't wait to go on my next adventure!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've always been keen on learning new languages. That's why I decided to study "Translation, Cultural Studies and Translation Studies" at university. My main subject was English, but I had courses for Italian and Japanese as well. That's why I could definitely teach German (my native language), but also English and Italian. I'd also like to improve my Japanese skills, for that I hope to be able to practice my talking skills. Before my working holiday I was employed as a translator at a recording studio. Our translation team was mainly translating texts for video games and webcomics.

In the past I also worked for several years at the "Deutsche Post" where I was working on machines sorting letters. This part-time job really prepared me to work not only independently, but also as a team. It was hard work, but it teached me to be conscientious and confident. I also worked as a baby sitter for several families over the years where I watched children between the ages of 1-7. Furthermore I also absolved two internships at a nursery school which made me aware of how many things you have to keep an eye on while dealing with children. My patient nature probably also helps me deal in a calm manner with children.

In my free time I like to cook, to bake, to sew and to knit, that's why I could definitely help with these types of works. I also helped my mother grow vegetables in the garden before. I'm a fast learner, therefore I'm sure I can adapt to any kind of work.

I love to dance and I sew my own cosplays. Those are two of my biggest passions!
I love board games as well and have a huge collection at home. I will also bring along some small card games with me, so let's play all night!

I also love to cook and bake, hence it would be an honor to prepare a wonderful meal for you!
