Hello! We are Ainara and Alberto, a multicultural couple that has been in WA (Australia) for the past few months after completing our uni studies, and are bound to start our new adventure.

We are eager for new learning experiences, putting our skills and knowledge to use while also providing our help with whatever needs be!

Ainara comes from a mixed family (French, German, Spanish) that has lived all over the world, mostly in Asia and Europe. After spending 3 years sailing and travelling around the Pacific on a sailing boat with her family, she developed a passion for the environment and the ocean which is why she has spent the last 4 years working in the field of marine conservation and ecology.

Alberto is from Portugal with roots from Cabo Verde. Car enthusiast and tech nerd, he loves all kinds of sports (namely basketball and football), having a great time with people and passionate to understand how things work.

We are hands on people, motivated to work hard and ready to spread good energy and sense of humor along the way. We love meeting new people, learning about new cultures and places, and can't wait to meet and share bonding moments with our new hosts! :D

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Ainara:
- Bachelors in Biology
- Experience in babysitting, working with kids and around the house, especially being the oldest of four siblings
- Experience teaching French, German and Spanish
- Worked on gardening at home

Alberto:
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working in a industrial background/factory, using tools and general manual labour
- Great computer skills
- Some experience working in his family's farm/vineyards, especially during harvest

We both love cooking, and can help out with any chores. We consider ourselves open-minded and tenacious people, being able to learn fast and adapt to our circumstances especially when tackling challenges that are brought to us.

Was noch ...

Considering our background, we both have an immense passion for the ocean, love spending time at the beach and in the water especially being divers (Ainara a scientific one :D). We share a curiosity to explore the history and culture of the places we visit, while trying to connect with the locals. Our hobbies include: singing, dancing, hiking, playing games, doing sports.
