Dear workawayer and hosts,

my name is Beatrice,
I am a 22 year old Italian girl who attends the course of Economics and Business Administration at the Bicocca University of Milan.

I am an extroverted girl when I feel comfortable, sincere, loyal, kind, curious, determined, organized, demanding (sometimes a little too much) and punctual. Of course, I have flaws too, like everyone else, but it’s up to you to find out!
I joke, some flaws I tell you, sometimes I am touchy, I can change my mood very easily, I happen to expect too much from myself and that’s what leads me to be very stressed, even if I’m trying to change this aspect.

In my free time I love watching TV series, I like to identify with movies and imagine living a second life. I love simple things and I really like to cook. I like to spend time with friends and also with my boyfriend, Simone, whom I’ve been with for four years.

My family consists of four people, my parents, me and my sister. We live in the province of Milan, in Cusano Milanino, in the periphery, in a small town, but well served and welcoming.

I graduated from the Scientific High School in Applied Sciences with 100/100, last year I took a year off from university. Today, however, I attend and I am very happy with this choice. To improve my language skills and my life experiences I would like to make this new experience to enrich myself.

I have two work experiences, I worked in the summer of 2019 as a waitress in a bar, it was my first job, then later I worked as an operator/ assistant in a virtual reality room in Milan-
In 2022 I worked in the restaurant 'Miscusi', I work in the kitchen, I am not assistant chef because in this type of restaurant there is no chef, because the preparation of the dish is a kind of assembly line.

I like being with children and my two experiences in contact with them are the animator at the summer oratory of my city and the assistant at an artificial ski area, where I had the task to take care of them and teach them cross-country skiing and alpine skiing, ensuring maximum safety possible. Besides, for two summers, I spent a lot of time with my younger cousin.
In addition, during high school two of my friends and I helped and organized children’s parties during their birthdays.

My native language is Italian, I have a basic knowledge of Spanish and a deeper knowledge of English (level B2, acquired in high school). So I want to improve my English, I love to travel and I thought that doing this program in a foreign country would be perfect to improve my English and learn a little more about your culture!
