Welcome to our profile! We appreciate you being here. Please don't hesitate to shoot us a message. We'd love to hear from you!

Bryce:
The most succinct way that I can describe myself is that I like to take life as it comes to me. Currently, I am living with my partner, Julia, and our kitten, Harley. Individually, I tend to be a very energetic person. I love to move my body and exercise my brain in just about any way that I can think of. I am passionate about always improving myself to further diversify my abilities and my knowledge of the world. I don't have one individual passion or area of expertise right now, but I enjoy having a broad range of knowledge and skills so that I can make the first connection with as many people as possible. Having a challenge I am able to continuously work on is a must for me, be it big or small. However, I truly enjoy having the end of the day be simple. I love to sit in silence with my thoughts so I can process life or share those thoughts with someone who is willing to have a deep and grounded discussion. All in all, I am curious about exploring the world and all the adventures that will come with it.

Julia:
I would describe myself as a very happy and comical person that works hard to find the good in everything each day. I feel I most relate to Dory from the movie Finding Dory; I'm just a happy, happy fish trying to find her way in the world and singing songs along the way. You can usually find me teaching tiny humans, taking a hearty nap, or enjoying the adventures of the outdoors with my partner, Bryce, and our fearless kitty, Harley Montgomery. My ultimate goal when traveling the world is to fill my toolbox of life with as many experiences as possible. I want to gain a better and more in-depth idea of the world and what it has to offer. I want to see the world in ways most people do not and carry those experiences with me throughout my life.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Bryce:
Formally, I have a bachelor's degree in Physics for Industry and Engineering. Throughout the time spent earning my degree, I primarily learned how to learn. There were countless topics that were covered in my degree, so I don't believe I am advanced in any one area. Primarily, I continued to refine how to approach new problems and topics and piece apart information into more manageable chunks. I have not found how to apply this degree in the real world that makes me happy, but I am okay with that. Outside of academics, I have grown up enjoying working with my hands and having the flexibility to add my own artistic touch to any project I would work on. I gain a deep level of satisfaction in being handy in a variety of physical ways. A small passion of mine is working and creating with wood; whether it be making cutting boards, framing a house, or building a garden. Athletically, I played and developed a solid skill base in soccer, rugby, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Give me the opportunity to participate in any of these sports and I'll be there in a heartbeat.

Julia:
My biggest accomplishment in life (currently) is my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. There was a time in my life where everyone around me knew I would end up becoming a teacher, except for me. I felt very lost, similar to Dory. One thing was for sure, I knew I loved communicating with children and watching them grow up to do incredible things. 5 years later, I became a teacher and the rest is history.
My love for gardening is also a very large part of me. I started gardening with my aunt when I was just 5 years old on our family hobby farm. Even at 5 years old, the process of starting with a seed and ending with a beautiful product inspired me. This love for gardening has brought me an incredible amount of joy, especially when I get to teach tiny humans about gardening as well.
I am also a photographer! I grew interested in cameras when I was about 9 (especially old film cameras!!) and have always loved having my picture taken. I have a small photography business that I started after I invested in my own professional camera. Documenting our experience is a must and I'm excited to use my photography skills to do that.

  Primarily we are vegan, but we base this not only on our moral and ethical standards, but also our ability to maintain a healthy diet provided we have access to a wide variety of vegan items. We are willing to step outside of this dietary preference.
