Beschreibung

We're a Belgian couple who care about the environment and nature. We've both just finished our studies in ‘nature conservation’. But we're still very curious and keen to learn, so we want to go away for a few months (from March until the end of June, more or less) to do some voluntary work abroad. We've chosen to do voluntary work to discover a new culture, meet new people, improve our English (and why not try our hand at Spanish) and also help out with environmental projects.
We chose Chile and Peru for the following reasons: Firstly, we wanted to get out of Europe and discover a different culture to our own. Secondly, we chose these countries for their highly varied ecosystems. We love the mountains and, as nature lovers, we'd love to discover the Amazon rainforest and its incredible biodiversity.
We're open to many projects, but we're especially interested in environmental projects, whether they be farms, gardening, reforestation, etc.
To sum up, we want to learn, we want to help, we want to meet people and we want to discover.

Bastien : I've already done two voluntary jobs, one in Iceland on a sheep farm for a month and another at a scientific station ringing birds in Greece for two months.
I've also worked on a dairy farm in Belgium.
