Hi,
My name is Audrey. I am French and I want to travel alone for the first time. I think that this experiment could be wonderful. I want to meet people, live a real cultural exchange and create life time memories.
I am a talkative person, mostly really dynamic even though I need time to recharge my social batteries from time to time, by being alone or spend time in nature (by the way I love nature and wild life). I am a cheerful and nice person but that you better not push too far.
In October, I’ll start my PhD in Neurosciences and I know that the next 3 years will be tough. It will be hard to take holidays and I assume from other PhD students feed back that I will be too exhausted to do some Workaway. That’s why I am so eager to make the most of my September month.
I am fluent in English and I know a little bit of Spanish. I am interested in learning as much as I can. As well I will be really pleased to help you learning some French.
About the work expected, I can clean (of course), organize things, gardening, do some DIY and I am a pretty good cook. Not a chief but I am doing well some basics. I enjoy doing manual work even though I have no specific skills. I don’t have a professional experience in baby-sitting but I have two nephews and I love to play with them and take care of them.

French is my mother language, I am quite fluent in English but I want to improve it. I learned Spanish at school but it was a long time ago. I am using Duolingo because I want to get back to my level back then. I am also studying German and Italian with Duolingo but I am REALLY a beginner. If I have the chance to learn a little of another language or improve one of the one I study I would be delighted. If you have some interest in learning French I would do my best to be a good teacher :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Honestly, I have no specific technical skills except in a lab. I know how to cook and tidy a house. I can do gardening, take care of kids and animals. I love doing manual things and I can learn what you need me to learn. Indeed, I am used to help my parents around the house and I am hardworking.

Was noch ...

I practiced Athletics for 12 years and even though I have stopped practicing sports for several years I am slowly going back to it.
I love to walk, especially in nature. That’s what I need to refocus and get back some energy and serenity.
I enjoy doing board games and everything allowing togetherness.
