Hello all!

I'm from London, UK, and will be moving to Canada for 2 years from June 2024. I am keen to explore Canada, make friends and build relationships, and discover new interests/ways of living!

I love exploring other cultures and learning languages; I speak 4 to a high standard (English, Hindi, French and Spanish) and am happy to learn more. I have worked in the tech industry for the past 7 years, researching, designing and building mobile applications, desktop applications, websites etc. Before this, I worked in sales/marketing and some event management, too! I am keen to get involved with projects that use my existing skillset or can even help me develop a new skillset.

Outside of work, I enjoy fitness/going to the gym (I do pilates and boxing classes, and weightlifting), and being creative. I have started improv comedy classes in London, and I am very into musicals / music - I used to play the piano to a high standard when I was younger, which I am getting back into, and I am interested in learning to play the guitar!

I have started beginner singing and dancing lessons...which is certainly interesting as an adult :) I also am keen to get back into writing (creative writing/writing non-fiction blogs/articles) too, and visual arts (drawing/painting). The latter transfers nicely to digital illustration, which is another thing that I want to learn.

As you can probably tell, I have a huge growth mindset which, coupled with my ability to learn quickly, serves me well and makes for creating a rich tapestry of life! Please do message me if you want to join me on my journey! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

~7 years of working in the digital/tech industry as a design consultant in a Big Tech company. I research, design and build digital products and services. This includes customer research, customer experience, design strategy and ideation, and visual design. I also have advised startups and been a judge at business competitions.

Outside of work, I like to do creative hobbies: photography, writing, and art/drawing. I am keen to be better at expressing myself: I have started improv comedy and singing lessons, am returning to playing the piano (since end of high school), and am interested in learning the guitar.

I also have a side hustle as a cat sitter - so far, I have mainly looked after cats! I am a huge pet lover! :D

I speak 4 languages to a high standard: English (native), French, Spanish and Hindi (fluent). I am happy to teach these languages and learn some more - I love exploring and learning about other cultures.

I like card games like Uno etc., games like charades, pictionary.

I am into fitness/gym like pilates, weightlifting, boxing, badminton. I used to do Crossfit which was a very good introduction to fitness.
