Hey I'm Anneke :).
I studied in conservation biology and then worked as a Catastrophe Modeller (not as cool as it sounds) but have moved away from the corporate world to reconnect with people and nature. I am currently with a host in Germany working with horses. I am looking to gain more experience in all kinds of life (especially farm life), self sufficiency with the bonus of new cultural experiences.

I have two nephews (7 and 2) that I adore and babysit often. In December I will be moving to Liechtenstein to au pair for my three year old cousin and continue learning German. In my time as a research scientist I often worked with children and teenagers (10-16), teaching them about nature and science.

I like to travel and have been to some amazing places, feel free to ask me about anything you'd like to know more about. I have worked professionally as a cleaner, amongst many other things, and have lots of skills to offer around the house and with animals big and small.

My main hobbies are reading, hiking, yoga and cooking. I love to cook for people and can cook for big groups to enjoy together.
