Beschreibung

My name is Anna, a 24 year old backpacker, bartender and student from Sweden. I've spent the last few years travelling on and off and would love to make new experiences through volunteering. I would love to learn more Spanish and am looking for any new experiences that can teach me more about this beautiful world.

I grew up surrounded by nature in Sweden and spent a lot of time working outside with my hands. I moved to the Netherlands when I was 18 to study, and since then I have become adaptable to any kind of environments, cultures, people and occupations - the more different from my own, the better.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I started working in hospitality when I was 17, and have stayed in the industry for the past 7 years working in various different hospitality environments in Sweden and the Netherlands. The work has meant a lot to me over the years, taught me important life skills and made me love working with people. It has also given me the ability to work well in high-intensity situations. While traveling I have done volunteering at hostels where I helped with cooking, cleaning and general household stuff. Cooking is something I'm especially happy to do.

During school I've done some volunteer work where I've tutored for refugee youth, organized fundraisers to fund education in Kenya and did work for a human rights organization. I'm eager to learn more about volunteer work and hope that it can help me improve my Spanish.

My upbringing on the countryside also involved a lot of hands-on work in the garden and maintenance for the house. I'm open minded about any kind of work and eager to learn any new skills, and I have no issue getting my hands dirty.
