Hi everyone! :)

We're Angelina and Manos from Germany. Both of us finished our A-levels this March and are planning to study psychology and physics towards the end of 2024. In the meantime we want to see the world and travel as much as possible. Since March we've been to Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands and have made smaller trips throughout Germany.

Recently we discovered Workaway and really liked the idea of travelling, connecting with people and helping hosts with their projects at the same time.

While we share many interests, our knowledge and skills still cover different topics sometimes (e.g. computer skills, photography, child care and cooking). As both of us are eager to learn something new, we're looking foward to new challenges!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Manos:
- I've taken drumming classes for about 6 years and still enjoy making music a lot - analog as well as digitally (making beats using a program called Ableton Live).
- I'm interested in computer related stuff like programming and building PCs. With this knowledge I always start smaller projects (mostly using tiny computers called "Raspberry PIs") like a dashboard display (showing weather information and gas prices near me) or a self-hosted cloud service to store my data.
- Another thing I really enjoy is doing carpentry. I'm no expert by any means, but I know enough to build basic things for projects of mine.
- Since March I've also been employed at a bakery, where I've been working in sales for the past 8 months.
- Also I am a fast learner, probably due to my curiousness regarding basically everything. I always want to know how everything exactly works - which is also why I enjoy physics and maths so much.

Angelina:
- I have a little brother, who is ten years old now. Since he is almost ten years younger than me, I babysitted him quite a lot, when my parents were busy and know how to care for children.
- In addition, I am able to teach children and explain specific topics to them, as I gave tutoring lessons to younger students when I was in 11th and 12th grade.
- I enjoy delicious food and am interested in cooking. Although I'm not a professional cook, I already have some basic skills and would love to improve them!
- Moreover, I'm a creative person and like to express it in my life (more details in 'What else...). Like Manos, I am looking forward to gaining skills in general and am really willing to learn new things.

Manos:
In my free time I like to go to the gym and play basketball with friends of mine.

Angelina:
I like doing many different sports in my free time. For example I am interested in hiking and yoga. I played tennis for 12 years and have danced hiphop for over 10 years now.

Also, I like to draw little things and craft with my brother. It becomes clear that I am a creative and versatile person.

Lastly, I enjoy taking care of my plants (I have over 20 in my room) and love to see them grow over time.
