Kia Ora! I'm Ali, 23, a solo backpacker from Canada. Back in Canada I worked at flower shop for the past few years which has expanded my knowledge about the earth and what comes from it. In my time here in New Zealand I would love to work on local properties, farms, and gardens to create a new understanding about different growing processes. And find more of a connection to land that surrounds us. I'm an open minded individual that is willing to do any work and learn new skills. Was könntest du arbeiten?

My most recent work experience is working as a florist for 4 years in a local shop. This allowed me to be creative and learn about seasonal changes brought to us from the earth. My family has quite a large garden in the summertime so I am familiar with gardening, weeding and pruning certain floral and vegetable varieties. My love for flowers has brought me a curiosity to learn more about growing and working on farms.

I've done quite a bit of house sitting and pet care in the last few years as well so I love animals and am very comfortable learning how to care for pets and farm life. House sitting also entailed local garden care and standard house maintenance. Always open to take care of homes and create a peaceful and comfortable living environment.

I am a fast learner and work well with others, I am open minded and happy to learn new skills! I am really open to doing whatever work is in front of me!

Was noch ...

Back home in Canada I am always hiking and exploring the mountains. I am someone who loves to spend time outdoors and sit in nature. After a long days work I am most happy to sit about, set up my hammock or spend time with friends. I like to read, play board games, and meet new people. Also I am always happy with a beer or two and some good chats!
