We are an adventurous couple who love to be outdoors and explore, go hiking and take photos. We really love to mingle and share stories, especially with people from all around the world.

Hey there and welcome to our profile :)

**A BIT ABOUT US:
Blake and I are an engaged couple who is backpacking Europe for the next 2 years (or longer if possible). We are two 28 and 31 year old Australians who love to explore and visit new places.

We have spent the past 6 months exploring the UK, Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Germany, Austria, Prague and Czechia. After our Europe travels, we have Tavel a pause working at a live-in position on a farm in Abergavenny, Wales. Our tasks include gardening, general maintenance, maintaining 5 airbnbs, looking after the farm animals, painting and babysitting 4 children.

Prior to our Europe trip we spent our time during covid in our 4x4 travelling Australia and camping. This is what grew out love for travel and made us decide to sell our belongings, quit our jobs and travel the world!

Please note: we do enjoy eating meat and we absolutely love ALL PETS! We have grown up with dogs, chickens and have a cat of our own who is waiting for us when we get back.


**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Blake and I are very hardworking, outgoing people. We aim to find a workaway job that will push our limits, learn new skills and most of all have a fun time doing so.

WE ARE NOT LIMITED TO BASIC SKILLS! We are happy to get our hands dirty and get shit done. Play hard and work hard. We talk about our skills in the box below and we hope to be the right fit for you :)


**DURATION OF WORKAWAY:
We hope to find a Workaway for 2 weeks to 1 month (can be flexible) or a multiple stays with shorter duration. We know that some workaways may start as a 2 weeks trial which we are very understanding of.


** REQUIREMENTS
I (Alicia) is currently working on my own business which is creating travel content, photography and running social media accounts on the side. The only real requirement is having internet access so after the work day is done, I can send my emails and work with clients.

There is a very high chance we will be driving through Europe with our car, which may be handy for getting around.

The owner/our boss of our current live-in position would happily be our reference, as I understand we only have 1 review.

I'll try keep this short and sweet, and very happy to answer any questions!

ALICIA:
Previous employment: Government account management & admin.
7 years Hospitality experience and 1 year experience managing a team at restaurant.
Currently: Photographer and social media manager.
Lived on 15 acres helping my parents with gardening, animals and maintaining the property.
Very clean and can (kind of) cook.

BLAKE:
Previous employment: 15 year experienced tradesman as a qualified Boilermaker / Welder. Work consisted in working big stints away in a camp. General knowledge about building and tools.
Blake takes pride in his work and loves a challenge. Willing to share skills and learn on the job.

WORKAWAY EXPERIENCE:
Picking olives, pruning trees, general gardening & maintenance, painting.

CURRENT JOB:
Cleaning 5 airbnbs to a professional standard.
Gardening includes: weeding, trimming, mowing, using machinery, gardening
General maintenance, DIY projects, repairing, building fences and garden beds, painting
Babysitting 4 children at the ages: 5,6,13,14
