Greetings!

My name is Alex. I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I am very curious about the world, other cultures, languages, people and so much more.

Out of high school/secondary school I began an apprenticeship at a digital marketing company. I have worked in the technical space for the past 4 years, but am now taking a break from working to travel before beginning work again.

I have never been to University and I do not have experience teaching English in a classroom setting but I love the idea of teaching. My grandmother taught English, and my father did teaching for a while as well. I think education is one of the most important things, especially for young hungry minds.

I would love to work alongside teachers to learn methodology and see how different people approach teaching a subject. I love to see people grow in their life, I think it's one of the most amazing things to be able to witness.

I would also love to learn and practice more Russian and pick up some local words too! As well as getting a glimpse into the life of the local people.

I have traveled through many countries in Europe. Just left Turkey and am now in Kazakhstan with plans to visit Kyrgyzstan as well.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a native English speaker. Aside from English, I am learning Russian and Vietnamese. I have a great interest in other languages and would love to continue learning and practicing. I have helped other people with language exchange through online apps.

I have worked professionally in the tech field for the past 4 years, doing programming and security work. I have taught apprentices security fundamentals and have been a mentor to junior co-workers.

In the past I have done volunteering activities with my family such as organizing food and clothes for the homeless and with political campaigns.

I can do manual labor tasks. I have babysit kids of family friends. I love helping with animals, but have never worked on a farm.

I don't have experience teaching a language, but I have a great interest in attempting to do so.

Where I don't have experience, I am definitely willing to try my best to learn.

I love to read, am attempting to get into writing and poetry. I am interested in History, cultures, personal experiences, languages and much more.

I'm a very curious individual and love trying new things and experiencing new cultures and new ideas.

I would like to get into carving as well, specifically with wood. Before leaving the U.S. I started learning, but have much to learn.
