I'm a 46 yo woman, I've travelled quite a lot before getting my lovely daughter (10 yo next July): then first she was little, next Covid came!
I love foreign languages as a means of meeting people from abroad, so since she's 2 years old I've regularly been speaking english to her, reading her books, watching cartoons in english with her...so now I think it's about time for her to have an active experience with the language, and for me to step out of my comfort zone in our sunny little town on the tuscan coast. No holiday though: I'd like her to see how other people live abroad. Favourite places would be US and Canada, but I will consider also northern Europe and UK or wherever there are english speaking kids, as long as it isnt too hot :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an english teacher at a middle school in Italy so I'm familiar with kids and with teaching (especially languages). I could also babysit smaller children. The main thing is that my daughter can stay with me while I work.
I am a fairly good cook, so I could help with that and recently I've started taking care of my mom's orchard: it's a tiny thing and I don't have a lot of experience, but I love working with plants and vegetables and doing little works there, so I could learn

Was noch ...

As I said I will travel with my 9yo daughter, so I'm looking for some experience that she could fit into. I'd really love to babysit or spend time with kids her age.
We love being outside but we also like playing board games at home. She loves being with people (I do too, but unlike her I sometimes need time on my own) , she understands english quite well and speaks a little
