Beschreibung

Hello! We are Addie and Josh, two travel and outdoor enthusiasts. We are currently living outside of Yosemite National Park, working as a bartender and server at a lodge. On our days off, we spend our time hiking and exploring new places in the park. We enjoy meeting new people at our work (both seasonal coworkers and guests) and forming friendships based on our shared love of nature.

Addie has spent time abroad. She lived and worked in Southern France last year. She was an au pair for a little girl, while also teaching English to primary school-age children in three different schools. Her first time living abroad was a memorable and positive experience which sparked her interest to continue traveling.

Josh grew up in a busy city outside of San Francisco, but has since fallen in love with the simple mountain lifestyle. He has explored and lived in different mountain towns around the Sierra Nevadas. He has always had an interest in traveling abroad, and Australia was an appealing place to start his journey overseas.

We are excited for this adventure, and hope to meet locals who can share their knowledge and enthusiasm about the region they live in. We hope to come out of this journey with new found friends and a greater understanding of the Australian people and community.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Addie is a quick learner, organized and creative. She is eager to do household chores, or anything cleaning related. As a bartender she is used to having to multitask (making drinks, stocking inventory, interacting with guests and keeping the work space clean). She has experience being a nanny full-time and animal care.

Josh is an energetic and hands-on guy. He is good at problem solving and curious about how things work and operate. His positive attitude and friendly personality make him ideal for customer facing positions. He is experienced in the kitchen, and enjoys creating new dishes at home. Additionally, he is physically capable when it comes to manual labor as well as handy work around the house.

We are eager to learn and develop new skills.

Josh enjoys cooking and Addie likes to bake. We are huge foodies and love discovering new cuisine. We stay active by hiking, doing yoga and playing pickle ball. We love board games and host game nights with friends. We would like to meet host families and individuals with similar interests and hobbies.
