Kia ora,
We're a couple from Aotearoa/New Zealand. We live, study and work in Pōneke/Wellington (the capital). Zak is studying Law and Politics, and works at a climbing gym. Lucy studies Medicine and has a job as a research assistant. We both love cooking, hiking and going on fun adventures together. We're travelling around South East Asia over our Uni Summer break and we'd love to have the opportunity to live somewhere for a while, helping out and making some meaningful connections with people. We'd love to learn new skills (particularly making tasty vegan/vege food!) and engage in culture and language exchange.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Zak has been doing freelance gardening for several years and really enjoys cooking. Zak also worked as a journalist for a university student magazine for two years so has experience with writing, editing, media and communications. He also has experience tutoring high school level English.
Lucy has worked as a receptionist, waitress and tutor alongside her studies in medicine. She's really interested in health and wellbeing. She has lots of experience with sewing, knitting and crochet, including making and mending clothes and other useful items.

Was noch ...
Zak really loves climbing (both bouldering and rock climbing). He also enjoys chess, reading and dabbles in a little guitar.
Lucy enjoys spending her spare time doing anything creative. She loves to sew/knit/crochet clothes for herself and others, and to paint and draw. She regularly loses to Zak in chess.
