Currently, I am taking an online German course from 9 am to 12:15 pm, so I need those hours free and a space to study.

I'm looking for a place where they can respect my study schedule. I have no problems with working even at night, I am flexible and adapt quickly ;)

I'm Gabriel.
Currently, I live in Cologne, Germany, for about 2 years.
Originally, I'm from Uruguay -that small country in South America-.
I grew up among hills and animals, although I have never been able to ride horses (something I would like to learn in the future)

During the year 2019, I was active on Workaway and worked in various volunteer positions, mainly in garden care and house maintenance (cleaning, chopping wood, interior room design).

I am a theater teacher, and I am focusing on learning German.

I can speak fluently in Spanish, English, Italian, and I hope I can also start flowing better in German, although I really manage to understand conversations.

From January, I will take a break after my theater play with my group, and I hope to do some volunteering to explore some new landscapes in Europe and find some inspiration for my new book that I am writing.


***I have health insurance in Germany with European coverage.

--*Personal Interests:

-I love cultural exchange; I am passionate about navigating between languages to meet new people and build genuine relationships.

-I studied History and Philosophy in Uruguay, so I enjoy long conversations and truly getting to know the geography and history of the places I visit.

-Politics: In a world with so much turmoil and extremism, understanding others' perspectives on the common life and politics of the citizens of the towns seems interesting to me. Although it's not an easy topic, and we don't have to talk about it, I recognize that it's a topic of interest to me.

-Literature.
-Native flora and fauna.
-Music/theater.
-Dishes and snacks.
-Nightlife - it's something I'd like to clarify. I'm not a club person, but I do enjoy walking the nights of the places I visit and discovering bars and corners of cities.


--*Goals:
At the moment, my focus is on improving and feeling truly confident speaking German and finding the next step in my professional career. But my heart is really set on continuing to explore the world around me. Although my focus is still on Europe, Asia will be my next continent next year, and I'm working on that.

I'm also working on several projects simultaneously to digitize some of my artistic material.
I also have some ideas for digital channels to share travels and corners of the world.

--*What I'm looking for:

I'm looking for a place where I can stay for about a month, during January. I am flexible, and my interests are varied. I have thought that I could help at the moment as a receptionist at a hostel in some European city. At the same time, I think it would be really nice for me to go north to see the northern lights, helping to take care of a house and animals.
I go from thinking that I could be useful helping in Granada or on an island in Norway or even in Iceland itself. So, if you find that my profile could be adaptable to something you're looking for, please don't hesitate to write to me, and we can exchange interests and see if we have common points :)

I hope my introduction has been precise and not too extensive.
