Hello everyone! 😊
We are William and Brune, a French sibling duo, always smiling, and looking for a wonderful experience this August! We want to find work on workaway because we think staying with a host in a country will allow us to experience true friendships and learn the country's culture better rather than just seeing all the touristic areas.
I (William) am a fourth-year engineering student with a passion for gardening, botany, and sustainable projects. I love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people- the past year I have been living in South Korea for 6 months and met incredible friends that I consider now like family. In 2022, I also did a Workaway experience in a beautiful hotel in the Austrian mountains where I helped with the general maintenance of the hotel, did a path construction project (including gardening) and took care of the well-being of the guests. Solo travelling is a true pleasure to me and enabled me to develop maturity, organisational skills and independence.
I am hardworking and will always put 100% effort into any task I do- I am definitely a perfectionist. Last summer, I worked as an event coordinator for an official partner during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games where I took care of welcoming international guests at airports and train stations and guiding them to their hotel.
Interests : I would love to learn more about how to plant and harvest tropical fruits and medicinal rainforest plants. I also love languages and enjoy working in hospitality. My goal is to learn as many languages as I can, at the moment I am hoping to improve my Spanish (B1 level) and Korean (beginner) but any other language to learn would be fascinating to me.
My sister, Brune, is a first-year medical student. She literally can repair anything broken 😂 She loves DIY projects, construction work, and above all taking care of children !! (she would love to become a midwife for her future job). Like me, she would love to discover the world while meeting amazing people. She’s optimistic, a bit shy at first, but once she’s comfortable, she’s the funniest, most easygoing person around.
Finally, we both love sports (tennis, running and gym), have a very good level of English and can even speak a little Spanish!
We can’t wait to meet you and share this adventure together! 😊

I have skills in hospitality and housekeeping as I already did a workaway in Autria in 2022, and participated in the welcoming of guests during Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Brune likes manual activities, renovation or outdoor construction projects for example.
Moreover, we have done babysitting many times before, and we love taking care of children ^^

We did scouting for 9 years and are quite resourceful in nature.
