Hi!
We are Sam and Shauna. We have both been living in Santa Marta, Colombia for the past 6-7 years. Sam has a motorcycle tour and rental company and Shauna has been working in the vegan food world. We met in Bogota as travelers and both decided that we wanted to make a life in Colombia. Being from the United States (Shauna from California and Sam from Chicago) we weren't really interested in the traditional life both that most people end up on there.
We love traveling wether it be locally or a much farther adventure. Many of the times we are traveling by motorcycle and sometimes with our dog in between us. We are used to taking a bus-plane-taxi, combo to get where we need to go and don't mind a tough journey if the destination is worth it.
We are excited to see more of the world and meet other people who are living an alternative lifestyle. There are so many way to choose and live your life and we find it super inspiring to to see the different journeys people have decided to go on. We know we have so much to learn from everyone out there and hopefully we can share some of experiences with you too!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am very handy as far as construction goes. I have worked different types of construction since I was 14 years old. I have been cooking my whole life and I would say it is my favorite pastime. I would love to learn how to cook authentic South American food and could be a great help in the kitchen if needed. I have 3 years of experience as a bartender so I can mix up some cocktails while I entertain guests. I have worked at international resorts in the past and also taught English to kids during this time. I am a very quick learner and I enjoy learning new skills!

Sam is an extremely advanced motorcyclist and can teach anyone how to ride. Shauna is an experienced vegan/vegetarian chef and would love to help anyone expand their skills in the kitchen!
