Hey there! I’m Vishnu – a bit of a nature nut, a language learner, and a volunteer-at-heart. I’ve spent time working on farms, helping out with animal rescues, and pitching in on forest conservation projects, so I’m all in when it comes to hands-on work.

I’m also really into the idea of community exchange – there’s just something special about sharing skills, swapping stories, and learning from people around the world. I’m always up for trying new things, whether it’s picking up a new language, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or even practicing some yoga moves (still a work in progress, but I’m getting there :) ).

If you’re looking for someone who’s all about good energy, hard work, and a little fun along the way, I’m your guy! Can’t wait to dive into the next adventure and see what we can create together!

I’m currently learning Spanish on Duolingo and making some progress. I know a few phrases now, but I’d love to learn more from a host or other Workawayers. Having real conversations would really help me improve, and I’m excited to practice and pick up new words together.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’ve spent about 9 months volunteering on organic farms, where I’ve rolled up my sleeves and really gotten into the rhythm of farm life. My main focus has been on hands-on activities that keep the farm running smoothly, like manuring, composting, and moving those heavy sacks around. I’ve also gained experience in the chocolate-making process, working with cacao peeling, harvesting, drying, and roasting, which has given me a good understanding of the effort behind those delicious treats. In addition to these, I’ve also served as a guest coordinator, where I made sure that large groups had a seamless stay at the farm. Acting as the bridge between the farm owners and guests, I ensured everything ran smoothly and everyone was happy.
My abilities include handling physical work with ease, strong communication skills to keep everyone on the same page, and the flexibility to jump into whatever task the farm needs on any given day. Whether it’s working the land or helping out with coordination, I’m ready to pitch in wherever needed.

Was noch ...

When I’m not volunteering, I enjoy playing strategic and fun board games—always up for a challenge. My hobbies usually involve working out or going for a run, and I love getting lost in a good book. I’ve also started going climbing occasionally and have recently developed a real interest in it. It’s been a great way to mix things up and stay active in a different way.
