Beschreibung

We are Víctor (30, from Spain), and Nadège (35, from France).

We have been dreaming about travelling to New Zealand for a long time, and were actually planning to come in 2020. Now, after living in Belfast for almost five years, we feel that the time is finally right for us to undertake this amazing adventure!

We plan on spending about 3-4 months travelling, exploring both islands as much as we can.
Víctor is a trained chef and has a lot of practical skills (gardening, renovating, painting...). And Nadège has always worked in customer service and has great people skills.
We both love animals, and we are more than willing to learn about anything and everything.
And we are not afraid to roll up our sleeves! :)

We have been living in the UK from some time now, and have come into contact with people from all horizons. This allowed us to learn (or perfect) a few languages. We are native speakers from Spain and France, but we are fluent in English and Italian, and Nadège has a few notions of German.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Víctor: I have been working as a professional chef for the last 10 years, while doing my studies in Tourism and in Cookery. I have also worked as a tour guide in my birth city, Segovia, and in its whisky distillery.
My father is an agricultor: he grows different types of crops, so I grew up working in the fields with my family, learning quite a few skills, like farming, mechanics, driving of machinery, electricity...
I have done some voluntary work in diverse fields, from helping the organisation of cultural festivals in Spain to assisting refugees in Greece, or doing hostel work in Ireland.

Nadège: Having always worked in retail or in the tourism sector, I developed great communication and people skills. I am very focused and organised, and I can adapt quickly.
I can help around the house, and I love gardening, even if I lack a bit of theoretical knowledge on that subject.
I have volunteered in hostels and B&Bs before, helping with cleaning, gardening, cooking, and checking the guests in and out.
I also love animals, and I used to ride horses when I was younger (I even participated in a few show jumping competitions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).
Most of all, I am driven by an inquisitive mind, and I am a very fast, and very enthusiastic learner!
