We really enjoy seeing new places, hiking and taking pictures of landscapes. During our free afternoons we enjoy a good series or watching a nice sunset.

Beschreibung

We are a couple of Chilean professionals who decided to take a break in our lives to live a new experience that would make us grow as people and teach us new skills. That is why we decided to quit our jobs to undertake an adventure together, living in another country with new people and a new language. We believe that it is important to get to know a new culture by inserting ourselves in this society, so that through work and community life we can contribute to the country we are getting to know, generating a more empathetic and inclusive environment. We hope to be able to help many people in New Zealand, just as they will help us to get to know their culture and improve our English.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Vanessa: During my college years I always worked in customer service, either as a waitress, salesperson and cashier. I studied in the university a career related to the health area so I am in constant contact with people, always ready to help and contribute in whatever they need. During my months in New Zealand I have worked in a kiwi pack house and in the orchard preparing the trees for the growth of the fruit. I consider myself a fast learner, so I am willing to learn whatever it takes to help society.

Bruno: I studied engineering in the city of Temuco Chile, I worked for 7 years in a coal mine in the south of Chile and then 1 year in a copper mine, my work was related to logistics and process management. In my free time I like to work with native wood, creating beautiful wall clocks and products to order, this allowed me to create my own business in Chile and I hope to continue in this area which is what I am really passionate about. During my first 3 months in New Zealand I worked in a kiwi orchard, pruning, thinning and preparing the tree for the correct growth of the fruit.

In our free time we like to go out and see new places, go for walks, cook a good meal and enjoy the simple things, like a good conversation or learning something new.
