Beschreibung

I'm a young graduate from a French business school, working in the organization of the Paris 2024 Olympics. I'm deeply interested in the European continent and people, as I used to live in many countries (Spain, Germany, Italy, UK) and met a lot of friends from everywhere.

I'm a positive, curious person, always willing to try new things. I'm a very social and forthcoming person and love talking to people about their experiences to understand what brings us together and what makes us different. I travel and visit a lot and I love being outdoors, whether it's doing sport or hiking.

My job at the Olympics will soon be finished and I will start a 6 months long trip across Europe in the following countries: Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republik, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

In all those countries, the core purpose of my trip is to get to understand how it is like to be a citizen of each country/city I will visit and understand the place that Europe occupies in each of these countries
Since I will travel alone all the way, my goal is mostly about meeting as many Europeans as possible, understand their culture and way of like. And if I can do all of that while helping someone to accomplish their projects, I would be more than happy to help !!

I don't have any experience of Workaway yet, but I've been travelling for several years now, mainly in Western Europe, so I'm used to this environment and I adapt easily to the people I meet and the conditions.

I'm open to learning the language of any country I visit, because for me it's essential if I'm to understand, respect and immerse myself in the culture and country I'm visiting. That said, I'm particularly interested in learning Italian with locals, to build on the foundations I acquired during my stay in Rome. As far as teaching is concerned, I can naturally help someone to learn French and English, both of which I speak fluently. Although not perfect, I have a decent level of German and could also teach this language to a beginner.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I went to business school, so my main skill is being able to adapt to any task and learn very quickly.

In particular, I was a babysitter for several years, so I can look after them and play with them to keep them entertained. As I've lived in several countries, I love communicating with someone in their language, and vice versa, so teaching French (to children or adults for that matter) is also something I can do !

Coming from a country as big and with such a strong local culture as France, I learnt to cook at a very young age, and I'd be delighted to show you a bit of France in my dishes, with quiches from Lorraine, ratatouille and crêpes from Brittany.

As well as this, I can carry out a number of simple gardening tasks (mowing the lawn, weeding, tending a vegetable garden, etc.) and house maintenance.

As I want my trip to be as environmentally friendly as possible, I'm particularly interested in eco-friendly projects, which I'd be happy to take part in.
As mentioned above, I'm also someone who's curious and adaptable, so any project involving skills I don't yet have (DIY, farm work, etc.) would be great.
