Hello! My name is Teun van Leeuwen, from the Netherlands. I am cycling through Europe and like to combine it with using workaway as a way of traveling, to be more engaged with culture and nature.

I'm an adventurous and open-minded individual with a passion for cultural exchange and exploration. I'm excited to embark on new experiences, learning new skills, connect with people from all walks of life through Workaway.

With a curious spirit and a desire to learn about different cultures, I believe that Workaway is the perfect platform to expand my horizons and make a positive impact in communities around the world. Whether it's teaching, volunteering, or lending a helping hand, I'm eager to contribute my skills and expertise to meaningful projects.

I have a diverse range of interests. I have a background in organic agriculture, worked on different farms which included a wide variety of farm work. I am a quick learner and adapt easily to new environments, making me a versatile asset to any project or host.

Beyond my skills, I consider myself to be a friendly and respectful individual, always ready to collaborate and engage with others. I value the importance of building strong relationships and fostering a sense of community wherever I go. I believe in the power of shared experiences and the lasting impact they can have on both individuals and communities.

During my travels, I hope to immerse myself in the local culture, learn new languages, and explore the hidden gems of each destination. I'm enthusiastic about connecting with locals, exchanging stories, and gaining a deeper understanding of the places I visit. I'm also eager to learn traditional crafts, cuisines, and other unique aspects of each culture.

I worked on different organic farms and have experience with gardening and working with animals. Before I started cycling this year I was in New Zealand and Australia where I worked on different farms. Before that I worked 2 years on an biodynamic horticulture farm in Germany.
