We are coming back to Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands and are stoked to experience Spring :)

Beschreibung

Honestly we really love being in nature and explore new places. That’s why we like travelling, hiking, diving and being in the garden. On the other hand it’s also about being conscious about the environment and nature in general. Getting in touch with nature makes us more conscious about it’s value, abundance and beauty.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Matti has a Masters degree in Organic Agriculture, absolved a PDC (permaculture design course) and has more than 7 years practical experience in professionally growing organic vegetables and harvesting seeds. Has a broad and deep knowledge about plants in general and especially about herbs and vegetable varieties.
He enjoys working and building with natural materials, doing all sorts of woodwork and carpentry and would love to improve his skills. Enjoys chopping firewood, too.
Has also experience in landscaping and planning as well as planting ornamental gardens.
Totally stoked about mushroom cultivationand and all things fungi!

Talea was working for about 6 years as a Social Worker and Therapist, studied Criminology and did further education in systemic consulting and equestrian therapy. She has more than 15 years experience with horses and loves pretty much all animals. She also worked for 14 years in hospitality, mostly as a waitress, barkeeper and barista.
She also loves woodwork, has a fair amount of gardening knowledge and lived off-grid for some months in Germany.

We both are reliable, know how to work, stick to schedules, fast learning and can deal with pretty much all sorts of tools.

Was noch ...

We both did quit our jobs in Germany and started travelling in South America in the end of 2022. We travelled through parts of Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
Now our travels continue in Canada, until June 2024. We will be spending the next months around Vancouver Island and are very excited experiencing Spring and early Summer :)

We are both passionate about board and card games, vegetarian/vegan cooking, deep talks about life, it’s beauty and challenges, wild swimming, scuba diving, specialty coffee, meditation and breathwork as well as evenings around the fire and being outdoor in nature.

Matti likes reading manga and books, observing birds, listening to music, going to metal (and other) concerts and trying to identify all sorts of beings in nature. He loves cats! And is super excited about fungi and all their miracles!

Talea likes sketching, being around animals, doing Yoga, being in and around water, watching a movie or series every now and then as well as carving.

And of course trying to live a sustainable way of life as good as we can, even though we are travelling...
