Hi :)
We are Vali and Tadej, 18 and 19 years old and love to cook, bake, gardening, take care of children, do sports and be creative, work close to nature, agricultural and in general very multifaceted.

We are currently at the beginning to our first big travel. After the abitur and the first two semester at the university in our homeland-the east of germany-we are exited to meet new people and places.

We are grew up with a lot of animals - cows sheeps and horses - and dogs :). Our hometown is in Saxony where are many lakes and so we love to be by water and go swimming.

Our main goal as Workawayers is to learn from other places and people while bringing value and helping out as much as we can in their projects and lifes.
Our main passions are outdoor sports (inline skater, basketball) books, art, baking and cooking. We are plant-and animal-lovers so we would be more than happy to do gardening, animal care or farming.

And so we look forward to a nice workplace, in which we can use our strengths and knowledge but have also the opportunity to develop ourselves.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Hi :) I am Tadej, 19 years old and since last October student at the Technical University in Dresden. When I finished my Abitur a year ago I started studying Electrical Engineering/Regenerative Energy Systems in Dresden and am therefore almost at the end of my 2nd semester.
My mother tongue is Sorbian - not German :) Sorbian is a Slavic language and the language of a small minority in Germany - the Sorbs. With our own language and unique culture, we cultivate our
different traditions.
If my injuries wouldn't forbid me right now, I'd like to be on a basketball court and throw baskets on my ears with music. Basketball has been my passion for many years which does not mean that I am less enthusiastic about all other sports. Especially in summer, by, but also in the lake - no matter what sport it is - I am for every movement :)

Growing up on a farm - a farm with animals, fields and especially forests (!) - I was involved in all the work from the very beginning - since I am on my own feet I am on the road in nature and therefore always on the move :)
Day-to-day work:
- Supply of animals (sheep - partly also cows and horses)- Breeding with lambing and rearing, feeding and care, grazing, recycling/slaughtering
- Pasture and field management with machines or without machines (with horse)
- Forest management, tree planting and tree care (with pruner, chainsaw)
- gardening, sowing (fruit and vegetables) care, harvesting, lawn and hedge work
- Construction work in small craft enterprises; painting, woodwork


My name is vali🌞
I have just successfully completed my Abitur a few weeks ago and am now at the beginning of a new phase in my life. To bridge the time between school and our first big trip, I work in kindergarten for 3 months. Also the last 3 summers I had the opportunity to do so because my mom is a kindergarten teacher. Her immense love for children and babies has been transferred to me since my own childhood. I really like to see children develop and support them as best I can. My biggest passion is to be creative. I love painting, crafting, planning and above all cooking and baking. I would love to do that every day all day and make everyone around me happy:)
