Beschreibung
I was a self-employed, practicing attorney in Cape Town, South Africa. Then the nomadic/ volunteer lifestyle chose me.
I have had the privilege of being on an indefinite travel-sabbatical in North and Central America since 31 August 2017.
Having started this travel adventure in Texas, I subsequently I traveled to a number of other states in the United States of America such as Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, New York and Vermont.
I have also traveled to a number of states in Mexico, such as Nayarit, Jalisco, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Mexico City and Guerrero.
My Central American travels include multiple visits to Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
I have "worked away" in all the places mentioned above (except Sinaloa and Nicaragua).
This travel adventure has included travel by plane, bus, boat and train. It has not lacked some hardships and struggles, but the life and work skills/ lessons and flexibility I have learned along the way have made this journey well worth it.
I have seen the impossible become possible and I am so grateful and privileged to be able to do this.

I am a first language English speaker and a qualified TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) teacher.
Basic computer skills.
I have very good organisational skills.
Thanks to workaway, I have gained some farming experience: seeding, transplanting seedlings, harvesting salad leaves, tomatoes, edible flowers and packaging the harvest.
I clean. I cook and have had many babysitting/ child-care positions.
I have also obtained some elder care experience through Workaway.
