Hi! I am Suzanne, also known for being an adventure seeker. I love to explore new places and to get to know people and understand their way of living. This is why I value to get to know people from different cultures and to experience what it's like to live somewhere in a country, instead of traveling through the country only to tick of places to go to. Workaway seems a perfect place to get in contact with local people and to help with providing work in exchange for living costs. I am planning to go to Central America in November until early January to improve my Spanish, to dance, and explore new places while also gaining some work experience working for NGOs. I just finished a Master's in Globalisation and Development Studies, have experience with field work in South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Now it's time to explore Latin Amerika! Not only to learn Spanish but also because I love Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba dancing and I like the food and culture. I am a very open-minded and positive person. I would love to connect!

Background in Human Resource Management, Certified Coach in personal development of soft skills and hard skills, fieldwork experience in South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, including conducting individual research about the impact of child after school childcare programs on children's needs in South Africa and women's empowerment through microcredit programs in Nepal. Master's in Globalisation and Development Studies, focusing on women's empowerment, youth/women's employment, climate change, human rights, international connections between countries. Understanding of different cultures, flexible, adaptability, fluent in English and Dutch, basic in Spanish, aiming to improve my Spanish to be fluent in Spanish as well. Also experience in hospitality services, although I would like to focus on women's/youth empowerment, climate change, or human right programs and activities. Oh and I like water sports and dancing Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba! I recently fiinished a sailing course.
