Hi there! My name is Suzanne. I am educated as a Cultural Anthropologist and while I love the people side of that, I am less of a researcher and more of a hands-on person. I love working outdoors, trying new foods and fixing up things/buildings/woodwork. For the past 2,5 years I have worked as a barista and as part of a team at a circular hardware store. I am a vegetarian and like to learn about new local languages. I think it is important to at least try to learn basic words and preferably some super local expressions. I am not always to great at this, but my random language skill is that I can count to ten in Slovenian. I am very excited to be able to contribute to your local project and look forward to meeting you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am eager to learn things and believe in a pro-active approach. Even if you don't know too much about something, cleaning up or moving objects to the right places is always something one can do!

Generally I am good at working with my hands, since I can sew my own clothing. I can work with basic drills and saws, because I have done so for work and because machinery is generally made to be logical. I am definitely up for a challenge!

Was noch ...

I play a sport that is not that widely known: Ultimate Frisbee. Which is a lot more than just throwing a disk to the other person. If I do not forget, I will bring one and explain a little!

I am partially Indonesian. My grandmother was a great cook, but unfortunately I haven't been able to learn too much from her. If I find the right ingredients, I can make a splendid vegetarian Rendang.

I would love to watch stars properly and see the milky way with minimal light pollution.
